After 20 years in the 3D industry, I felt it was time for a change. So as of today, I’m studying to become a technical communicator. The program is a vocational college course (YH) and takes one year to complete. I’m really looking forward to gaining new knowledge and skills, as well as getting to know my new classmates.
A technical communicator conveys technical information—such as manuals and instructions for technical machines and systems—in a clear, educational, and user-friendly way. The program is conducted remotely and includes a workplace training period (LIA), where I get to apply my theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting.
The course includes:
- Introduction to Technical Communication
- Text Analysis and Writing
- Project Knowledge and Project Management
- English for Technical Communicators
- Information Design
- Technical Illustration
Tools and Systems for Technical Communicators

Learning at Work (LIA)
New energy, exciting times ahead. This is going to be fun 😊
